Posted on 7/12/2017
The NGC Advanced Chinese Authentication Bureau (ACAB) will be accepting submissions in Hong Kong, China, August 14-20, 2017. This will be the first NGC ACAB event in Hong Kong, China.
Led by noted expert Chen Gi Mao, the NGC ACAB was established in March 2017 to provide a higher level of authentication services for vintage Chinese coins. After coins have been authenticated by the NGC ACAB, they are graded by NGC and encapsulated with the prestigious NGC ACAB Red Dragon label. They are also backed by the comprehensive NGC Guarantee of authenticity and grade.
All vintage Chinese coins struck prior to 1949 will be accepted for evaluation by the NGC ACAB. To submit to the NGC ACAB Hong Kong, China event, write “NGC ACAB August Hong Kong Event” in bold letters on your submission form. If you do not request the NGC ACAB event, your coin will be submitted for standard authentication and, if genuine, will be encapsulated with the NGC standard brown label.
After coins submitted to the NGC ACAB have been evaluated, they will be shipped with full insurance coverage (based on the submitter's declared value) to NGC's Sarasota, Florida, headquarters for grading and encapsulation. Coins will then be returned to Hong Kong, China for pickup after grading.
