After Mercury Dimes I began collecting Walkers with my Dad as a boy. I still have that set of mostly 64-65 coins which are all fully struck coins. At that time we looked only at strike and eye appeal . All coins were graded by Anacs photo certificates. That set now sits in PCGS holders.
This set was built for me and my sons in the same spirit.
The lowest grade coin is a MS65 with key dates being MS66. Every coin is a monster!
Upgrade after the long awaited addition of a MS66 1941-s may be harder. I have 2 MS 65 coins left and am waiting for nice MS 67 coins.
Considering this is a departure from my seated coin focus, I am proud to be in the top 10 for a series that holds a special place in my childhood memories.
