My latest numismatic goal - Two complete sets of certified Peace Dollars to leave to my sons someday. Now, I know these will never be very high on the Registry, but it's something that gives me joy and something that maybe they will like or they can use to fund something important.
For me it's the art of the coin and the challenge. I think the Peace Dollar is one of our most beautiful designs. Also, it's fun to pursue the goal and Peace Dollars are a set that can be completed.
Generally, both sets will be very close to the same.
Finally, this set is in memory of my Dad, the toughest badass Marine I ever knew. (Image - The Major in his OV-10 Vietnam Era)
