In 2021, the series made a comeback as part of the 1921 Silver Dollar Coin Anniversary Act. The Philadelphia Mint also produced Morgan Dollars with “O” and “CC” privy marks in honor of the former New Orleans and Carson City Mints, in addition to Morgan Dollars with no mint mark.
In 2022, the United States Mint temporarily halted the production of the Morgan Dollar and did not release any coins due to supply chain issues of silver planchets.
In 2023, the San Francisco Mint released the 2023-S Reverse Proof Morgan Dollar, which is the first time in history that U.S. Mint has released a Reverse Proof version of the Morgan Dollar.
All Dollars are very nice NGC graded 70 coins.
