This is a 2-coin set, buried in the limbo of the last pages. Truly, that says much for the competition of this set. 1,500 collectors outrank me, and these coins weren’t cheap. It almost seems silly to even bother with this listing.
However, I do have a purpose, as a type collector, in having this set. Namely, my reason is representation. My 2024 scores pretty high, within my one type set that accepts it, which left the 2015 hidden from the public. The funny thing about hidden coins is that they don’t score, thus my individual rank as a collector does not reach potential.
By no means am I competing for first place; I do not have the means to get anywhere close to that. But this set has a slot for my additional Eagle type, which allows me to rank at 8,533 at the time of writing this. That is a pretty big number, I know, but it’s within the top 23% of collectors on this registry; from around the world. My type pursuits probably won’t advance this set anytime soon, but this set allows me to share what wouldn’t otherwise be displayed. I’m happy I can crash your series-collector party here; while adding more significance to the leading numbers.
