Clad Roosevelt dimes are used in everyday commerce. Their daily use leads many to believe that they are common. However, when you consider the hardness of the copper-nickel alloy and the unpredicitable flow of metal into the die, you can get some rare modern pieces if you consider only full torch strikes. In fact, there are still some dates where no Full Torch Roosevelt dimes have been certified. The full torch designation makes this series not only fun, but also very challenging. There are currently many top population coins in this set. It will continue to undergo changes in the quest to find the best available coins for the series.
Update 2011: Decision made to go out on top after three years at number one. Thanks to all who helped me build this great set of coins! It may be rebuilt at some time in the distant future, who knows.
Update 2013: Decision made to rebuild the set. It will be a shadow of its former self, but will be fun to have once again.
