This collection has its roots in the 1950s, when my father began assembling a set of Morgan Dollars. Though he never completed the series, he passed his collection on to me, and it became the foundation for this set.
Over time, I have upgraded many of his original coins with higher-quality examples, though a few of his original coins remain as a direct link to his efforts. The Carson City GSA coins in this set were purchased by my father during the original GSA offering in the early 1970's, a cool bit of history.
This registry set continues his legacy, with the goal of completing what he began more than seventy years ago. At first completion, I'm aiming for this set to be top 20 in the Registry, with plans to push it to the top 10 over my lifetime.
