Yes, we remember the year1970. The girls were prettier, the cars were faster, the music was better. And the men of the Greatest Generation , our fathers generation, were still in their prime. Things were good in 1970, it's too bad things change with time. Ah . . . Nostalgia.
Those of us who came of age in the late sixties and early seventies wax nostalgic about those days, but the truth is that not everything was the way we recall them. Some of today's modern muscle cars would blow the doors off my 1969 Chevelle 396 Super Sport. And some of the music from those days is better off forgotten about. But I am absolutely sure the young ladies were prettier back then. And our world was much richer when the 'Greatest Generation' was still with us.
