Twentith Century No Gold Set

The name of the set says it all. In the twentith century, when I came home from the Army, I settled on an academic career, hence "no gold." This is the main gate to the old campus of Indiana University off of Indiana Avenue, adjacent to Kirkwood Avenue. The building at the end of the path is Maxwell Hall where the economics department is. As you face the front of Maxwell Hall to the left is a park bench, and seated on that bench is a bronze statute of Herman Wells, a long-time, beloved President of Indiana University who wrote a book about his experiences entitled "Getting Lucky" for anyone interested in academe, a must read.
