Early Silver Dollars: 1794 to 1803
As I assembled my U.S. Dollar Type Set, I became more and more interested in the Early U.S. Silver Dollars and their fascinating story. Once I obtained the three basic early dollars; 1795 Flowing Hair, 1795 Draped Bust and 1798 Large Eagle for the Type Set, I realized I had a good start for a Basic Early Dollar Series Set.
Now my journey begins for a Basic Early Silver Dollar Set. Generally my target coin will fall between a grade of Good too Fine so to make it financially achievable. Also, in the case of Early Dollars due to budget and limited survival rate I am willing to accept coins that have Details if the coin has eye appeal.
