1937 is the year of my Father's birth, it was a time when the United States was struggling to get out of the Great Depression, not really accomplished until WWII. Coin collecting saw a surge in popularity at this time, Commemoratives were popular though slumping, Penny boards had gained traction and 1937 was the second year in the resumption of proof coinage. In this set I am seeking nice eye appeal and originality, pretty much the theme to all my sets.
