Thanks to my father, I have always been fascinated with early gold coins. He collected a basic type set of ungraded gold, and I recently decided to upgrade the set to high quality MS grade examples. This is the result - It has taken me a long time (and a substantial investment) to find examples for each type of coin in a condition I wanted.
In addition to these examples, I have also assembled a full set of 1907 gold coins ($2.5, $5, $10 Liberty, $10 Indian, $20 Liberty, $20 St Gaudens High Relief, $20 St Gaudens No Motto) to represent the most dynamic year in gold coin history.
