I've been collecting coins since 1955. My father was coin collector and we use to sit down on a Saturday afternoon where he taught me all about coins. When he passed in 1980 I received his collection which I dearly love.
Starting in 1986 I got interested in the silver eagles of which I have the entire collection. Getting bored I was looking for something else to collect. A neighbor who is part Sioux from South Dakota showed me the Ogala Lakota Sioux Nation coins. I was in love with them.
I love the antiqued high relief coins. Each coin is different. I have them all listed on NGC but my gold ones I haven't listed at all for personal reasons.
My favorite coin in the set is the 1 kilo sitting bull.
The set has been kind of hard to put together as most of the coins have really low production numbers and even lower grading numbers.
