This set right now and presumably for the time that I collect coins, which will be my whole life, will always come first when I have the chance to upgrade it. Second being my Roosevelt proof dime collection the hardest of those will be getting UC’s on the 1950-1956. Third being my Morgan set. The fourth would most likely be my Jefferson nickel set. This set is important to me because what got me into coin collecting was a random 1941 cent and I thought it was so cool. So wheat cents have always had a special place in my coin collecting addicted heart. Memorial cents have always seemed under appreciated in the coin collecting world. I know there are the rare ones and the varieties but the ones that aren’t valued because of a variety, I have always liked. Take a random 1982 cent slap a 68 on a piece of paper put it in a piece of plastic, and there, a 1400 dollar coin. Most of the copper cents (those prior to 1983) are very rare in 68s and most are rare in 67. What really got me into memorial cents was a coin I found in a random circulated cent roll in a box from Louisiana National Bank that I paid 25 dollars for and took just one cent out of it and now I turned 1 cent into $1400. After that I have a cart full of wishlist memorial cents and a lot more high grade memorial cents sitting around waiting to be sent off to get graded. There are also some boxes of uncirculated 1981&1982 Denver boxes I bought from the bank. I opened a roll up and I am going to send 5 coins in from those rolls. There is also a box of 2010 d cents that I am going to send in. The rest I will sell on eBay. On eBay I am selling 2 rolls for about $11 and there are 19 available. I sent one in and, well, just look I have the photo vision plus for it and, I just don’t think it deserves a 65. I think it should be higher, but you win some you lose some. I have plenty more to try again and send in. I recently requested a score change on the 1982 large date copper cent so if you got a higher score on your set because the score slot changed, now you know. I plan to send in a bunch of memorial cents in my next submission but the problem is they are modern. I want to send them in under the modern tier but I have some really nice economy coins I need to send in. I did modern last time and skipped on those. Sorry to mention it again, but more on coins being graded too low... If you go to the 1996 d in my set, tell me if you think it should be a 67. I kind of agree on the 1996 Philadelphia, but I can see that one. I still don’t know about the 1996 Denver. I also, like a lot of people enjoy steel cents. For a while they are the thing I have been trying to get and I have been saving up for a MS68 for 1,250 dollars and I think that is one of the top priorities for my collection right now. I also updated my 1943 s steel cent from 67-67+ and I have the 67 on eBay. I also changed it because the coin was rotated in the case but I know a lot of people like those rotations but, I don’t. Thanks for checking out the set!
