A set of Roosevelts started long before the services adopted the unfortunate designation of FT or FB, which has inflated prices all out of proportion to their rarity, or more properly their lack thereof. Most of these pieces are FB or very nearly so, but the plastic is worth more than the coins, so they're not getting cracked out for registry points. I hope you enjoy the set based on the strong technical merits of the coins and their eye appeal, which is what collecting is supposed to be all about. This is a fun series to collect and I have a toned set, and a mostly raw white set. Collecting nice fully struck, early die state Roosevelts is inexpensive if you're willing to buy coins rather than the holders.
