This set began in the spring of 2016 when I bought seven 1/10 ounce mint state pandas in original government packages for $120@ from my local coin dealer. After getting them graded by NGC, I dreamed of getting the whole set. This dream felt right to me. Building the set meant eighty purchases via ebay, three at coin shows, and ten 3-gram pandas from Modern Coin Mart and GovMint. I purchased the rare 1992 and 1994 proofs on ebay. All in all, a very satisfying ten-year journey! So thankful to win a Best New Set award in 2023, the culmination to my dream.
