The mint did not issue official uncirculated sets this year, so collectors had to search rolls and bags for those near perfect coins.
This year is significant for a change in the composition of the Lincoln cent, as well as the unusual "no P" dime.
Not included in this set is the elusive 1982-D bronze small date cent. As I write this there are only two examples graded by NGC.
