I chose Franklin collecting because I admire Ben Franklin's accomplishments and his ageless wit. As a child, I recall getting this larger coin as change after a purchase. For me, collecting Franklins makes a unique connection to my youth!
I began this NGC proof collection in 2006. This set marked my first major collection. My goal is to complete this set in all NGC holders with highly graded and rare Cameo or Ultra's. It has been a fun and educational experience, albeit costly. My wish is for rarity and price appreciation over the coming years thus enabling my family to enjoy the size of this "prize". My hope is to provide a legacy collectable set which is passed down and improved upon in some way by each generation.Good luck in your collecting endeavors.
