Some Halve It and Some Donât.
I fully realize there are coins in this world that I will never own. Simply because they they are far too expensive or are extremely rare.
With that in mind, I simply âmove onâ to the ones I can afford. Some coin collectors are so smitten with the collecting hobby bug that it seems they would âsell or tradeâ their very soul to have that âPerfectâ MS-70, PF-70 or SP-70 example.
It seems to me, there be no greater joy when a collector walks out of a coin shop or opens a new mail package with the newest member of a set.
Our hobby (or quasi hobby) is fueled by one GREAT desire.
Obtaining one more specimen or example in real time.
To those who stand on the outside of the collecting arena, (wives, friends etc,) our motives and actions are seemingly concluded upon to be something of a âPara-Normalâ illness.
Nonetheless, and whatever conclusion you or others may arrive at, itâs still the same bottom line resultâŚyou either have it or you donât.
After all, itâs just a hobby isnât it?
