This set has taken a life of its own the past few years. I have committed to finding what I'd consider quality coins, within my means. My criteria are the best strike and level of surface preservation I can find, preferably with full steps; and pristine fields very fine flow lines if possible. Toning is not a requisite but is welcomed, and quite a few here have very pleasing toning that comes from honest storage, and doesn't distract from the beauty of the coin.
I have dedicated this set to the memory of my Father, who had nourished and encouraged my fascination with coins.
(Note: I had recently retaken all images for this particular set, using the same scope setup and lighting, so that you may see how each coin looks relative to the set. My previous photos seemed to have cast a slightly pinkish hue on the coins. I also try to use the most brutal lighting possible, that you can see all the defects as well as the beauty of the coins.)
