It is my parents' birth year set. I started it on April 9, 2007.
It will take some time to put together a nice set of proof coins of that year :).
The set was finished on 11/12/2007 :).
1942 marked the last year the US Mint produced proof coins until 1950. However, the proof sets of 1950 replaced Adolph A. Weinman's Mercury Dime and Walking Liberty Half Dollar with the Roosevelt Dime and the Franklin Half Dollar. Also unlike 1942, the 1950 proof sets include only one Jefferson Nickel composed of 75% copper and 25% nickel.
