I first heard of the Redfield Silver Dollar in 2001when the late great Selby Ungar (aka) The King Of Carson City asked if I was interested in starting a collection. I was so fascinated with Redfield's history that I felt compelled to start my collection.
I found Selby through a Coin World ad while looking for a reputable dealer to build upon my GSA Carson City Silver Dollar collection.
Needless to say, as two admirers of silver dollars minted in Carson City we hit it off immediately and became good friends.
Now that Selby is no longer with us, I turn to Ben Todd from Sarasota Rare Coin Gallery,to help fulfill all my GSA, and Redfield silver dollar needs.Without Selby and Ben my collection would never have reached the success that it has on the NGC Registry! I look forward to working with Ben for many years to come.
