About half of the coins in this set can be purchased in the MS-63 grade for less than $1,000 each including the 1889-S Seated Dime which has the lowest population count at 219 pieces. The two most expensive coins in MS-63 are the 1889-CC $20 Gold Double Eagle which lists for $60,000 and the 1889-CC Morgan Dollar listing at $42,500. With patience and a willingness to accept lower grade coins for the very expensive slots, many collectors should be able to assemble a complete set.
