The set is celebrating the 225th anniversary of the United States Mint.
-- To ensure greater details, the enhanced finish was used in production of this coin set, tagged by NGC as SP.
The Mint that was established on April 2 by the US Congress Coinage Act of 1792.
-- However, the first US general-circulation coin, Fugio cent, was produced in 1787.
The first US Mint was located in Philadelphia, PA (shown on photograph). Currently, there are 3 additional active branches of the mint, located in:
-- Denver, CO - D
-- San Francisco, CA - S
-- West Point (NY) - W
In the past, other branches of the US Mint were located in
