This set came into existence through the back door if you will. I never set out to create a Type Set, and then one day (2005ish) I noticed that I had a fair beginning on the Set. At that point in time I began to purchase some coins, notably the coins dated 1965 to the present, for the Set. Also, my birthyear is 1958, and, while waiting for high grade toned examples of minors of that year to appear on the market, I decided to begin collecting material from 1858. This allowed me to start filling in other holes in the Type Set.
