This is the coin series I will devote 90% of my numismatic time, money and effort towards. Ten dollar liberty eagles.
With a focus on attempting to complete the entire set of the New Orleans minted pieces.
There will undoubtedly be a stopper or two unless my proverbial ship comes in. The 79-O & 83-O for starters. Who knows, maybe I’ll get extremely lucky and find an about good example of the tough ones.
You that collect these gorgeous coins know exactly what I’m referring to, when it comes to the joy experienced each time you acquire one.
For a coin collector, each slot filled is an incredible feeling. Slowly filling these pieces is that same feeling on steroids.
Hard to describe actually. I need to update this set regularly as it’s gonna be the one with the most activity.
Eventually this set will disappear with only New Orleans examples.
