I have collected U.S. coins for nearly fifty years. I particularly like the older series, including the pre-1836 "open collar" hand made die series such as Draped and Capped Bust half dollars. Over the years I have acquired at least one specimen for each date from 1803 to 1839 and some "Redbook" varieties as well. While most are uncertified and reside in blue Whitman bookshelf albums, some more recent purchases, including the key 1815/2 and 1836 reeded edge are in eligible holders and displayed here.
