In 2011 I started grading coins from my collection that began in the 1950s. I worked on Modern Commemoratives and received an award for the best modern set - Modern Gold Commemoratives in 2020. I was able to complete the Silver Dollars in May of 2024. I am very near completion for the 50C coins. There are many tough grading rarities in this series that cross over to Olympic and Sports sets. The toughest coins here were the 4 Proof 70UC coins from the 1996 Atlantic Games for the High Jump (13), Rowing (13), Paralympics (15) and Tennis (18).(As of 5/21/2025). There are many tough coins available in less than 100 top population. Newcomers are advised to start with the tougher issues in this set first. For the many of the issues with large available quantities a large desirable set can be acquired for modest amounts over melt.
