The Walking Liberty Half Dollar has always been a particular favorite for me. I intend to put together a NGC-only set. It makes the pursuit more challenging and sometimes I have to forego nicer coins, but I am dedicated to the task.
Most of these coins I purchased already slabbed, but one - the 1934 - I got raw. At the time I thought I got it for a song! Imagine how deflated I was when NGC graded it MS-62. I was hoping for 67. :-(
I like the idea of an all-CAC set especially since CAC has become a grading organization. What does that say for the bean?
I'm always on the lookout for quality coins to add to my collection. Would love to find a way to connect with other registries to wheel & deal. If you have one that fits a hole in my collection and you're will to part with it...
