BDE 20th Century Proofs (NGC Only)
What can I say? I love these 20th Century proof coins!
Unfortunately, it’s doubtful that I will ever complete this set. Gold coins are scarce and very expensive. It would take a millionaire to complete this set with the high-relief Saint and the Indian proofs (which I am not).
I prefer to keep this set completely consisting of NGC-graded coins. I could easily add over 7000 points by replacing proofs from the 1970s with PCGS “upgrades,” but the coins are no better. PCGS has softer standards than NGC for proofs from this decade. However, those are the rules for the competition.
