The Last Coinage of the Portuguese in India
Struck over the last 3 years before they left India
Most of the coins were struck in 1958 and 59
In 1961 only the 10 Centavos was Issued .
These coin were then demonetized the following year in 1962
This was the 1st Series of Portuguese India Coin that i was able to start with in 2017 and complete.
Even though these coins have a high mintage and easily available ,to find them is Mint state has always been a challenge and taken me a few years to complete in High Grades .
I Always recommend this series to new collectors as their really beautiful coins and available at an easy price in the market
