I began collecting Barber Half Dollars around 1970 as a teen. I built a partial set with many high grade difficult dates, suspending collecting around 1984.
In 2010 I my interest resumed; I began collecting again. In 2012 the set was completed, but not with all high grade coins There were also a few Proofs thrown in. I began grading the coins in 2012, a little at a time.
Most of these coins were raw when I bought them, but a few were bought graded.
