I began this set in 2014 because I had the three Lincoln cent coins from my complete 09-58 Lincoln cent set as well as the Philly Merc dime purchased in 2000.
This will be a difficult set to complete as the overdate coins are very expensive and I am not fond of well worn/circulated examples. Those slots may never get filled as I'm not sure I want to (or will be able to) allocate the funds needed to find adequate examples.
I had left the set on the backburner for close to a decade. This year, 2023, I had the opportunity to purchase two coins for the set, the Philly nickel and the Denver SLQ. I hope that I will be able to find a couple of nice eye appealing coins to add to this set in 2024.
Well 2024 came and went with no additions to the set.
For 2025 I was able to add the Philly SLQ to my collection and this set in May.
