The Congo Free State also issued a 5 Francs coins; All with low mintages. Again, other than the first year of issue 1887, consider the other dates as rare for any coin in nice condition, especially mint state, Check out the one of 4 known 1887 5 Francs piece in proof format listed in my Custom Set.
I do have the 1896 but it still resides in a PCGS holder as MS64.
The King of the Congo 5 Francs, listed in Krause as KM 8.2 is the "full legend" piece with the legend spelled out completely as "Roi Des Belges" as opposed to the others with the abbreviated legend of R.D. Belges.
The KM 8.2 has a reported mintage of 100 coins. It is extremely rare and a very sought after coin.
