I was looking for a challenge and decided to set the bar high and aim to be the 1st registry set containing all NGC star* coins. A review of the NGC census shows 9 of the 13 coins in the classic gold commem series have a grand total of 4 or less star* coins. Two of the 13 coins in the series have only a single star* coin! So I have accepted the challenge and will succeed or die trying.... Or maybe I'll just have a lot of fun trying.
PS After almost 4 years of searching I have managed to obtain 8 of the 13 coins with the NGC star* designation. Three are not shown in the set because I had a coin that rated higher points for the registry.
