NGC! I love to compete, but it’s time we admit the obvious: your point scoring system has become a parody of itself. What was meant to measure a coin’s grade, rarity, and market value now only measures how well people game the "system". Pretending this insufficient framework is credible insults the intelligence of everyone involved.
Two perfect examples:
-1916-D Merc VF30 = 9 pts
-1932-D Washington MS64 = 54 pts
If the Registry wants to be taken seriously, stop using a broken scoreboard and start building one that actually reflects the rarity of the coin's type, date and grade, and its market value. Until then, the points are just noise—and everyone knows it.
