Exciting 50 States Eagles Program Features NGC-certified Coins with Special Labels

Numismatic Guaranty Company™ (NGC®) is collaborating with Collectors Alliance in the exclusive release of coins for its new 50 States Eagles Program. These NGC-certified Silver Eagles are encapsulated with one of 50 special NGC flag labels, one for each US state.

For decades, the Silver Eagle has been the flagship bullion coin of the United States, NGC has certified more than 13 million examples, more than any other series. The Silver Eagle is the largest, heaviest and purest Silver Dollar struck by the US Mint.

The obverse of these coins enshrines the timeless Adolph A. Weinman design from the vintage Walking Liberty Half Dollar Series. The Liberty figure is clad in the Stars and Stripes, representing the 50 states that comprise the nation. The Silver Eagle recently received a new reverse design depicting a dynamic image of an eagle coming in for a landing.

The Collectors Alliance 50 States Eagles Program continues the energy of the State Quarters and America the Beautiful Quarters programs, which rejuvenated interest in coin collecting starting in 1999. Collectors enthusiastically took up the challenge of collecting one coin from each state.

Now, NGC is proud to be launching this exciting new program involving Silver Eagles. Each coin in the 50 States Eagles Program is being encapsulated in a holder with a distinguished black core and NGC’s dual label technology. The obverse label features the Collectors Alliance 50 States Eagles logo, the name of the state represented and certification details from NGC. The reverse label displays the state flag in a large format adjacent to the coin’s reverse with a design featuring the majestic eagle, which as the national emblem, represents all 50 states.
