French Auction Offers Dozens of NGC-certified Coins

Rare coins certified by Numismatic Guaranty Company™ (NGC®) from Europe, the US and elsewhere are being offered in a CGB Numismatique Paris auction. Online bidding is already underway for the sale, which concludes March 8, 2022.
The top NGC-graded lot is a France 1640A 2 Louis d’Or graded NGC MS 64 (lot 718133). The coin displays a portrait of King Louis XIII, who was near the end of his 33-year reign. This coin has an estimate of €50,000 (about $56,200).

- an Italy 1888R 50 Lire graded NGC AU Details (lot 675984), with an estimate of €5,000 (about $5,600)
- a United States 1942/41 Mercury Dime graded NGC MS 62 (lot 643559), with an estimate of €3,000 (about $3,400)
- a China 1918 Sinkiang Sar (Tael) graded NGC AU 50 (lot 715270), with an estimate of €3,000 (about $3,400)
- a France 1864BB Gold 20 Francs graded NGC MS 64 (lot 724257), with an estimate of €2,400 (about $2,700)
