Rare NGC-certified 1873-CC Dime Realizes Six Figures in Heritage Sale

A key-date Seated Liberty Dime certified by Numismatic Guaranty Company™ (NGC®) realized $180,000 in the US Coins Signature Auction presented by Heritage Auctions on November 11, 2021.

The 1873-CC Arrows Dime graded NGC MS 65 (lot 3532) is one of two certified in Mint State condition. The arrows signify that the dime’s increase in weight was in compliance with the legislation for the coins’ metric weight standards.
