NGC-certified Netherlands East Indies Coin Featured in Mavin Auction

Dozens of rare coins from Southeast Asia and elsewhere that have been certified by Numismatic Guaranty Company™ (NGC®) are featured in an upcoming sale by Mavin International. Bids are currently being accepted for Auction 58, which the prestigious Singapore-based auction house will present on November 27, 2021.

The top NGC-certified coin in the sale is a Netherlands East Indies 1787//AH 1202 Gilt Copper Keping graded NGC PF 66 (lot 528). Born from a series of trading posts set up by the Dutch East India Company, the Netherlands East Indies eventually grew to encompass the land that is today Indonesia. This coin has an estimate of SG$2,600 (about $1,930 USD) and up.
