NGC and NGC Ancients Announce Revised Services and Fees for 2021

NGC has announced a few service and fee changes for regular US, world and ancient coin submissions, effective January 1, 2021.

Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) has made a few changes to its submission forms, fees and tier requirements for 2021. A full list of changes for submissions to the US office is below:

NGC Grading Tiers and Services

  • Express tier – fee changed to $65
  • Modern tier – updated to 1965 to present
  • Extra Thick Holder – formerly called Double Thick Holder

NGC Ancients Grading Tiers and Services

  • Ultra Rarities tier – removed $2,500 maximum fee
  • Express tier – fee changed to $85
  • Standard tier ‐ fee changed to $45
  • Extra Thick Holder – formerly called Double Thick Holder

Reminder that for non-bulk submissions, the maximum number of coins per submission form is 50. Use multiple submission forms as needed. For bulk submissions, the minimum number of coins per submission form is 100.

Updated submission forms and price sheets reflecting these changes will be available in January on the NGC website. All coins received by NGC after January 1, 2021, should be accompanied by the new submission form.
