NGC and NCS Return Shipping Fees for Domestic US Registered Mail

Use the following table to calculate your estimated return shipping fees from NGC and NCS for standard size coins, tokens and medals. Additional charges may apply for extended or remote service areas, heavier packages, added items, etc. Shipping and insurance rates are subject to change without notice.
Important Note: Customer assumes all risk of loss or damage to collectibles during return shipment from NGC and NCS to Customer. Customer is responsible for selecting a carrier (e.g., USPS Mail) for return shipping and for procuring insurance on return shipping. If Customer does not select a carrier, collectibles will be return shipped via USPS Mail.
For domestic US return shipments via USPS Mail, NGC and NCS will use USPS Registered Mail and purchase insurance on Customer’s behalf based on Customer’s declared values, up to $100,000 per package. NGC cannot provide or procure insurance for international return shipments to Customers. See additional information below chart.

Domestic (US) Return Shipments
Shipments to US addresses are shipped by NGC and NCS via USPS Registered Mail by default and insured according to the declared value provided by the submitter on the NGC or NCS Submission Form(s). See the Domestic USPS Registered Mail Shipping/Insurance Fee Matrix above.
Customers wishing to use their own FedEx, UPS, or USPS Express Mail account must have a completed CCG shipping form on file. Return shipments via FedEx, UPS, or USPS Express Mail will not be insured by CCG. Please contact NGC Customer Service at service@NGCcoin.com or 1-800-NGC-COIN (1-800-642-2646) before submitting so that we can place this information on file. We must have this information on file prior to receiving your submission.
Customers are strongly encouraged to purchase private shipping insurance, with companies such as ShipAndInsure.com. Private shipping insurance may provide additional benefits over carrier-provided declared value protection, and at better rates.
In the rare event that a return shipment cannot be located, please contact NGC Customer Service at service@NGCcoin.com or 1-800-NGC-COIN (1-800-642-2646). To make a claim, the USPS will require acceptable proof of value showing completion of payment such as a dated sales receipt, money order, credit card statement, copy of the front and back of a cancelled check or proof of completed internet payment transaction indicating actual amount paid.
International Return Shipments
Shipments to non-US addresses are not insured. NGC and NCS are not responsible for loss or damage to international shipments.
Please note that different carriers may have restrictions on certain items. Collectors and dealers are encouraged to consult with these carriers to confirm that their items are eligible.
We encourage international submitters to secure private insurance coverage, such as that provided by Hugh Wood, ShipandInsure.com, Brink’s or Malca-Amit.
