NGC-certified Coins Expected to Top Teutoburger Münzauktion GmbH Sale in May

Teutoburger Münzauktion GmbH will hold an online auction in late May featuring NGC-graded vintage coins from all over the world. Online bidding for the Teutoburger Münzauktion GmbH Sale is now open with the auction ending on May 28. Interested collectors are able to view and bid in the auction on all major platforms including Numisbids, Philasearch, Sixbid and Biddr.
Among the most anticipated coins in the sale is a German New Guinea 1895A 20 Mark graded NGC MS 63. This extremely rare coin dates back to the German colonial period. In 1885, Germany was given control of the New Guinea Company, which had responsibility for coinage. New issue New Guinea coins were then minted in Berlin and included the mintmark “A”. It has an estimated sales price of € 40,000 (about $43,100 USD).
Another highlight of the sale is a Germany 1664 HS 1.25 Taler graded NGC MS 62. This rare coin was created by mint master Henning Schlüter. It features a half-length portrait on the obverse along with a folded coat, Braunschweig helmet and 14 crowned coats of arms attached to laurel branches. The reverse side of the coin has numerous intricate details including a religion and justice theme with a hilly landscape backdrop and cloudy skies with rays. It has an estimated sales price of € 20,000 (about $21,500 USD).

- a Germany 1560 Taler graded NGC XF 45, with an estimate of € 10,000 (about $10,800 USD)
- a Danzig 1923 25 Gulden graded NGC PF 64, with an estimate of € 10,000 (about $10,800 USD)
- a China YR3(1914) 50 Cents graded NGC MS 64, with an estimate of € 9,000 (about $9,700 USD)
- a South Africa 1997 SS 1 Krugerrand graded NGC PF 67 Ultra Cameo, with an estimate of € 8,000 (about $8,600 USD)
- a Germany (1630) Taler graded NGC MS 64, with an estimate of € 5,000 (about $5,400 USD)
- a 1867 Dollar graded NGC PF 63 Cameo, with an estimate of € 5,000 (about $5,400 USD)
- a China 1912 Silver Dollar graded NGC MS 61, with an estimate of € 5,000 (about $5,400 USD)
- a Germany 1915A 20 Mark graded NGC MS 65, with an estimate of € 4,000 (about $4,300 USD)
