NGC Will Attend Prestigious NYINC Show in January
Posted on 12/19/2019
One of the largest and most prestigious shows in the country for aficionados of world and ancient coins is set for January 16-19, 2020, in New York City. Numismatic Guaranty Corporation® (NGC®) representatives will be present at the show and numerous NGC-certified collectibles will be offered for sale by dealers and auction houses.
Attendance is expected to be higher at the 48th New York International Numismatic Convention (NYINC) because, for the first time in years, the also-popular Winter Florida United Numismatists (FUN) show will be held on a different weekend.
This China 1911 Long Whiskered Dragon Pattern Dollar graded NGC SP 65 is being offered at NYINC by Stack’s Bowers Galleries. It has an estimate of $400,000 to $500,000. Click images to enlarge. |
The NYINC bourse will include more than 100 leading specialists in world and ancient numismatics. Meetings and educational seminars are planned as well as eight days (January 12-19) of auction sessions.
NGC representatives will be at NGC booth #500 to answer questions about the company’s services and benefits as well as to accept submissions for certification.
Eight top auction houses will present sales, either alone or jointly, including Heritage Auctions; Spink USA; Stack's Bowers Galleries, with A, B and C sessions; Baldwin’s of St. James’s and Classical Numismatic Group. The New York Sale, with sessions offering Ancient and World coins and Russian coins, currency, orders and medals, will be presented by M&M Numismatics, Sovereign Rarities, Dmitry Markov and Ira and Larry Goldberg.
The NYINC will be held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Manhattan, which has a direct indoor connection to Grand Central Station. Convention registration is $20, which includes access January 17-19.
