Numismatic Guaranty Corporation® (NGC®) certified many of the vintage and modern coins featured in Heritage Auctions’ HKINF (Hong Kong International Numismatic Fair) World & Ancient Coins Signature Auction. The sale takes place December 5-6 in Hong Kong, China.
The sale's highlight is undoubtedly the China (1897) Szechuan Ferracute Pattern Set that is one of only three complete sets known to exist. It comprises 10 silver and brass coins that not only are considered among the most important vintage Chinese coins, but also have a compelling connection to American numismatics. Learn more about the set’s amazing history and legacy here.

Another significant piece is a China 1927 Silver Pattern Mausoleum Dollar graded NGC MS 65 that has an estimate of $80,000 to $100,000 (USD). This coin featuring Sun Yat-sen, the first president of the Republic of China, was part of an extremely low mintage and few still exist today. Mottled blue and violet toning make this example even more unique and appealing.
