NGC Adds Hong Kong, China On-site Grading Dates

Numismatic Guaranty Corporation™ (NGC®) has added more Hong Kong, China on-site grading events following the strong demand for its most recent event, which was held in March.

NGC on-site grading allows submitters to receive a significantly faster turnaround time for their submissions. During these events, coins, tokens and medals are graded and encapsulated at the office of NGC Hong Kong, Ltd. (NGC Hong Kong), the Hong Kong, China affiliate of NGC.

NGC Hong Kong relocated to a larger office in March to better accommodate the growing interest in NGC and its affiliates, Numismatic Conservation Services™ (NCS®) and Paper Money Guaranty™ (PMG®), in Hong Kong and throughout Asia. The new office enables NGC Hong Kong to expand its service offerings, including more frequent on-site grading events.

No additional fee will be charged for Hong Kong on-site grading. A previously announced $2 on-site grading fee has been waived.

NGC will perform on-site grading in Hong Kong during the following dates this year:

May 13-18, 2019

• Modern coins, tokens and medals only.
• Submissions should be made to NGC Hong Kong by Friday, May 10. Write “May On-site Grading Event” on the NGC Hong Kong Submission Form.
• NGC Hong Kong will endeavor to have submissions ready for pick-up by Monday, May 20.

June 24-29, 2019

• Vintage and modern coins, tokens and medals will be accepted.
• NCS on-site conservation will also be available.
• Submissions should be made to NGC Hong Kong by Friday, June 21. Write “June On-site Grading Event” on the NGC Hong Kong Submission Form.
• NGC Hong Kong will endeavor to have submissions ready for pick-up by Tuesday, July 2.

August 19-24, 2019

• Vintage and modern coins, tokens and medals will be accepted.
• NCS on-site conservation will also be available.
• Submissions should be made to NGC Hong Kong by Friday, August 16. Write “August On-site Grading Event” on the NGC Hong Kong Submission Form.
• NGC Hong Kong will endeavor to have submissions ready for pick-up by Monday, August 26.

September 23-28, 2019

• Modern coins, tokens and medals only.
• Submissions should be made to NGC Hong Kong by Friday, September 20. Write “September On-site Grading Event” on the NGC Hong Kong (China) Submission Form.
• NGC Hong Kong will endeavor to have submissions ready for pick-up by Monday, September 30.

December 9-14, 2019

• Vintage and modern coins, tokens and medals will be accepted.
• NCS on-site conservation will also be available.
• Submission cutoff and pickup dates to be announced. Write “December On-site Grading Event” on the NGC Hong Kong, China Submission Form.”

January 13-17, 2020

• Modern coins, tokens and medals only.
• Submissions should be made to NGC Hong Kong by Thursday, January 9. Write “January On-site Grading Event” on the NGC Hong Kong, ChinaSubmission Form.
• NGC Hong Kong will endeavor to have submissions ready for pick-up by Monday, January 20.

• Turnaround times are approximate and not guaranteed. If your submissions cannot be done on-site, you will be notified by NGC Hong Kong and your submissions will be shipped to NGC headquarters in Sarasota, Florida, USA.
