Presentation by NGC Expert
A free presentation titled "Introduction to NGC, NCS and PMG" will be offered by David J. Camire, NCS President and NGC Finalizer on March 30 from 11:00 to 12:30 at Mira hotel 3/F. Camire will explain the services and benefits of NGC, NCS and PMG in a comprehensive seminar with helpful information for collectors and dealers of all experience levels.
David J. Camire specializes in modern Chinese coins and is considered an authority on mint errors. Before joining NGC in 1999, David was a numismatist with one of the largest coin companies. He is the co-author of "100 Greatest U.S. Error Coins."
David J. Camire, NCS President and NGC Finalizer, will be conducting free evaluations of coins. Evaluations will be provided 14:00 to 17:00, March 30, and 10:00 to 12:00, March 31.
Adam Howerton, PMG Grader/Finalizer, will be conducting free evaluations of paper money. Evaluations will be provided 10:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 17:00 on Friday, March 29 and Saturday, March 30.
Adam Howerton is one of the most senior members of PMG's paper money grading team. Before joining PMG in 2011, Adam was a graduate and research assistant at the University of South Florida in Tampa, where he completed a master's degrees in US cultural history.
To ensure that we help as many people as possible, there is a limit of 10 coins and notes per person for the free evaluations. Evaluations are provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
Note: Because evaluations are performed in a show environment, as opposed to our standard grading environment (with proper lighting conditions and facilities), all opinions should be used only as a guide. The grading opinion may change after the coins or notes are submitted and evaluated at our office.
