NGC and PMG Rarities Top A. Karamitsos Auction

Two Greek numismatic items had the highest prices realized in the January 2019 auction.

An NGC-certified Greek coin and a PMG-certified Greek note shared the spotlight at A. Karamitsos' Public & LIVE Bid Auction 631. The auction concluded January 12, 2019.

An 1871-86 Greek 25 Drachmai Specimen, graded PMG 53 About Uncirculated, realized € 11000, more than double its starting price. Meanwhile, an 1836 Greece 2 Lepta, graded NGC MS 61 BN, realized € 9000.
