ANA Submissions of Presidential Silver Medals

NGC will offer the Philadelphia ANA Releases designation for qualifying 2018 George Washington Presidential Silver Medals and 2018 John Adams Presidential Silver Medals submitted to NGC at the ANA World's Fair of Money, August 14-18, 2018. Special submission instructions must be followed.

NGC, the official grading service of the American Numismatic Association (ANA) since 1995, will also offer an exclusive ANA certification label for qualifying coins. The label features the ANA logo and its Lamp of Knowledge member logo.

The NGC designation is available for medals that are purchased from the US Mint at the ANA show and submitted with the original US Mint purchase receipt.

Coin and medals with the Philadelphia ANA Releases designation will be listed separately in the online NGC Census.

Medals received by NGC within the first 30 days of their release are eligible for NGC's popular Early Releases® and First Releases® designations. Submission Instructions:

• Note: All submissions will be sent to NGC's headquarters in Sarasota for grading. For details about submitting at the Philadelphia show, click here.
• Submit the 2018 Presidential Silver Medals in their sealed Mint packaging under the Modern grading tier or higher. There is an additional fee of $15 for the Philadelphia ANA Releases designation, which will be encapsulated with ANA Label #433 as the default label. Include the purchase receipt from the US Mint.



• There is an additional fee of $10 for the Early Releases/First Releases designations. If Early Releases or First Releases is desired, select Early Releases or First Releases, for an additional fee of $10 per medal. The Early Releases or First Releases labels (shown below) are the default labels for these designations.





• To qualify for Early Releases or First Releases, coins must be received by NGC or an NGC-approved Depository before the Early Releases/First Releases cutoff date.
• If you do not want ANA Label #433, Early Releases or First Releases labels, the Standard Brown label (shown below), may be requested by writing Standard Brown #377 on your submission form.



• If you would like Mint packaging returned, select “Return Mint Packaging” in section 3 of the NGC Submission Form. The fee is $5 per form, plus the cost of shipping.
