ANA Submissions of 2018-S Proof Silver Eagles

NGC will offer the First Day of Issue, First Day - ANA and Philadelphia ANA Releases designations for qualifying 2018-S Proof Silver Eagles submitted to NGC at the ANA World's Fair of Money, August 14-18, 2018. Special submission instructions must be followed.

NGC, the official grading service of the American Numismatic Association (ANA) since 1995, will also offer an exclusive ANA certification label for qualifying coins. The label features the ANA logo and its Lamp of Knowledge member logo.

The NGC ANA label is available for coins that are purchased from the US Mint at the ANA show and submitted with the original US Mint purchase receipt.

First Day of Issue designation:
Available for coins purchased on the first day of sales (August 14) and submitted to NGC at the ANA show on that same day (August 14).

First Day - ANA designation:
Available for coins purchased on the first day of sales (August 14) at the ANA show and submitted to NGC at the ANA show on that same day (August 14). The submissions must be accompanied by the original US Mint purchase receipt.

Philadelphia ANA Releases designation:
Available for coins purchased at the ANA show August 14-18 and submitted to NGC at the ANA show. The submissions must be accompanied by the original US Mint purchase receipt.

The First Day of Issue, First Day - ANA and Philadelphia ANA Releases designations will be listed separately in the online NGC Census.

Coins received by NGC within the first 30 days of their release are eligible for NGC's popular Early Releases® and First Releases® designations. Submission Instructions:

• Note: All submissions will be sent to NGC's headquarters in Sarasota for grading unless an on-site grading tier is selected. For details about submitting at the Philadelphia show, click here. (If you are not submitting at the Philadelphia show, follow the instructions here.)
• Submit the 2018-S Proof Silver Eagle coins in their sealed Mint packaging under the Modern grading tier or higher. There is an additional fee of $15 for the First Day of Issue, First Day - ANA and Philadelphia ANA Releases designations. There is an additonal fee of $10 for the Early Releases/First Releases designations. Include the purchase receipt from the US Mint booth.
• Request the desired label in the Add-on Services section of the NGC Submission Form and write your selection in bold letters on the form.
• The First Day of Issue designation will be encaspulated with the blue and silver First Day of Issue label #891 by default. If you would prefer the ANA label, request ANA Label #433.



• The First Day - ANA and Philadelphia ANA Releases designations will be encaspulated with ANA Label #433 as the default label.



• If Early Releases or First Releases is desired, select Early Releases or First Releases, for an additional fee of $10 per coin. The Early Releases or First Releases labels (shown below) are the default labels for these designations.





• To qualify for the First Day of Issue, First Day - ANA and Philadelphia ANA Releases, see the definitions above.
• To qualify for Early Releases or First Releases, coins must be received by NGC or an NGC-approved Depository before the Early Releases/First Releases cutoff date.
• If you do not want any special label or designation, the Standard Brown label (shown below), is the default label.



• If you would like Mint packaging returned, select “Return Mint Packaging” in section 3 of the NGC Submission Form. The fee is $5 per form, plus the cost of shipping.
